Sewing with Tulle....

I am in serious need of some suggestions on sewing with tulle.

It all began when I decided to try to make my own produce bags.

I started with a pretty pile of 2 yards of white tulle, enough for 8 bags.
I successfully kept it away from 2 four year old princesses who couldn't see anything except potential tu-tu's!

Cutting out the dimensions was pretty stress free too....

It started to get ugly when I tried to sew a zigzag stitch....

I was supposed to sew a channel in which to place twine to close my bag but I decided that just wasn't working.

All in all, not too shabby for my first attempt at a greener produce bag. I think next time I'm going to try sheer fabric instead.

The girls might get their tu-tu's after all!
